Sid Shubert was 20 years old when he started Boston Glass and Boarding Services, Inc. in 1972. With two previous years experience in the glass industry, Sid started by boarding up broken windows of commercial clients, later moving on to the installation of the glass itself.

Boston Glass opened the doors to its first shop at 399 Geneva Ave. in Dorchester, Ma. Eight years later, Boston Glass expanded to all types of glass installation, including Mirrors, Table tops, Flat glass, and Auto glass, and moved to a larger shop and more convenient location at 1068 Dorchester Ave. Dorchester, MA. Boston Glass grew again in 1996, opening a another shop at 550 River St. Mattapan, MA. Offering complete mobile services to its customers.

With two centrally located shops, Boston Glass certified installers routinely service the entire North and South Shore areas.
